(217) Fly fishing aboard the North Bay. Throwing bid flies to big fish today with no luck. It's tough but lots of fun. There are good numbers of Walleye at the Middle and North Channel. Bass are starting to school up at the same location. Perch at the shipping channel come on out. wink

(216) Walleye fishing remains slow but there was some nice catches taken at the outlet of the spillway. Recent rains flushed out
some nutrients and the fish are there. However,I don't know for how long. Bass and Muskie fishing is a little better then walleye, but I seen better days on this fishery. The bass and muskie are good size this season but where are the smaller fish. The new recruits are not showing up in our catch. On the other hand, perch numbers are up. Summer time still is a great time to take family and friends out fishing

Walleyes have slowed due to the massive mayflies. The trout fishing in the thumb is hot. Going to move the boat to the thumb ports asap. wink

(214) Mayflies are in full hatching mode. The morning fishing is slower but the late afternoons the fish are active. Chasing bugs on the bottom. Lake Huron continues to be good for Lake Trout. Find a scum line of bugs and steelhead are nearby.

(213) Walleye fishing has slowed from great to good catches. May flies are here and that is food for the walleyes. Lots of food ! Bass fishing opens today we took a limit only fishing US waters. No Canadian paper needed. To much of a hassel these days. Port Sanilac also had some good fishing this past week. Trout and Salmon available. We can get you on these fish as well.
