Good catches of walleyes today at Algonac in the rain. Some silver fish taken too. The run has begun !

(3) Guys the St. Clair is full of silver fish. It does'nt get better than this. No need to travel to the West Side of the state. Walleye should arrive any day now. Need water temp to rise some. Mean-while the silver fish are here ! big grin

(2) The St. Clair River system is another place for salmon and trout. Good numbers of fish congregate at the power plant discharges when the ice flows from Huron seize. Try the Black River behind the old Sear’s building. Anglers have good success trolling body baits or jigging tipped with shiners near discharge sites. Other anglers cast little Cleos and spawn bags with good results from shore.The St. Clair River system is another place for salmon and trout. Good numbers of fish congregate at the power. smile
